DOCTRINES OF THE FAITH

THE WORD OF GOD

We believe

that the Bible, is the Holy Word of God and that it is distinct from all other

religious books in that it alone stands as Gods only revelation of Himself to

mankind. We believe that both Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, the

Bible and it is the verbal plenary inspiration of God and is inerrant in its

original languages. We believe it was written by “holy” men of God as they were

moved by the Holy Spirit; therefore it is authoritative and binding upon all

who believe in God through faith in Christ ( Hebrews 1:1-2, Revelations 1:1-2,

John 14:6-9,15:9-10, 20:30-31, , Luke 24:25-27, Exodus 20:1-2, Leviticus 1:1-2,

Jeremiah 1:1-2, Ezekiel 16:1, 2 Peter 1:16-21, 2 Samuel 23:1-3, 1 Thessalonians

2:12-13, 4:15, 2 Timothy 3:15-17).

GOD

We believe

in One God, Who has revealed Himself in the scriptures as God the Father, God

the Son and God the Holy Spirit. That the three persons of the one Godhead are

equal in all attributes. (Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2)

JESUS CHRIST

We believe

in Jesus Christ, the God-man who never ceased to be God and in His incarnation

was virgin born, without natural father, generated by the Holy Spirit according

to the scriptures. In His sinless life and vicarious sacrificial death, burial

and bodily resurrection on the third day made full atonement and reconciliation

for mankind and that He ascended far above all, and is seated at the right hand

of the Father in heaven. (Is. 7:14, 9:6-7, 53:1-12, Matt. 1:18-25, 28:9-10,

Luke 1:26-35,24:13-43, Heb. 9:11-10:22, 13:8, Eph. 1:3-23, Phil. 2:5-7, 1 Tim.

3:16) 

HOLY SPIRIT

 We believe in God the Holy Spirit, that He is

the regenerator of the new birth, and the one who indwells the believer and

leads and guides them in the faith and to the full revelation of Christ and His

work on their behalf. The One who reveals the Word of God to believes, and

convicts the sinner. The Holy Spirit can be lied to and grieved and it is He

which gives the gifts of the Spirit as He sees fit, and that they are

applicable to all believers in the present church age (  John 3:3-5, 16:7-13,Titus 5:3, Romans

5:5,8:11, 1 Corinthians 12:3-12, Acts 5:1-11,7:51, 8:29,11:16-17, 13:2-4,

Isaiah 40:13-14, Eph. 1:16-17, 4:30)

MAN

We believe

in the creation of man by God and that he was innocent and without sin.

Contrary to the command of God he sinned, and fell. From that moment sin had

separated man from his God. That man is born in sin and an enemy of God in his

thoughts, intents and heart and that man’s only hope is salvation through

heartfelt belief in the saving work of Christ alone on the cross. (Genesis

17:9-10, Romans 3:10-30, 10:8-13, Eph. 2:12-22, Col. 1:12-22) 

ANGELS

 We believe in angels, that they are the

creation of God, and were created holy and that one-third of the holy angels of

all different ranks rebelled against God and are called demons/fall angels.

Lucifer is the head/chief of these that have fallen, he being the initiator of

the rebellion against God. The holy angels are emissaries of God that obey His

command and help those who are heirs of salvation and war against unfallen

6:12, Col. 1:15-16, Hebrews 1:4-14, 2 Peter 2:4, Jude 1:6-9, Revel. 12:3-9)

THE CHURCH

We believe

the Church is a global body of believers who have accepted the Lord Jesus

Christ as Lord and Savior according to the scriptures and have been regenerated

and placed in the mystical Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus

Christ has given the Church an assignment and spiritual gifts to accomplish

that end. We believe that each localized body, is a part of that global body

with its own specific mission. The mission of the church is to evangelize the

lost, teach and equip the believer in the knowledge of Christ and his/her

unique individual and cooperative role as an ambassador of Christ (Eph. 1:1,

2:11-22, 4:1-16, 1 Corinthians 12:1-30, John 3:3-8, acts 10:34-48, 11:12-18,

Titus 3:5, Gal. 1:1, 1 Peter 1:1-2, 2 Peter 1:1-2, Jude 1:1)

THE RAPTURE

We believe

in the imminent and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ to gather together

those who have fallen asleep in Christ and those who are still alive, and to

reward those who have labored. (Revel. 3:10, 1 Thess. 4:13-5:11, 1 Corinthians

3:8-15, 15:51-52)

ISRAEL

We believe

that Israel is still the apple of God’s eye; they as a nation are in special

relation to God above all other nations of the earth. God will yet fulfill all

the prophetic utterances He has spoken to Abraham, Isaac and the descendants of

Israel with regard to the temple, land, the kingdom, and their enemies. (Daniel

9:23-27, Gen. 12:1-3, 13:14-17, 15:4-21, 17:1-8, 22:17-18, 2 Samuel 7:11-16, Ps

89:20-37, Jeremiah 33:14-26, Ezekiel 38:13-18, Joel 3:1-2, Zech. 2:8)

THE PHYSICAL SECOND COMING OF CHRIST AND THE MILLENNIAL REIGN

We believe in the physical second coming of

Christ to this earth, to destroy all man made kingdoms and to set up His

Millennial Reign where the nations will be under His submission and authority.

24:23-27, Luke 21:27, Acts 1:9-11, Revel. 19:11-20:9)

NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH

We believe

in the new heavens and the new earth according to His promise (Isaiah 65:17,

66:22, 2 Peter 3:8-13, Revel. 21:1-5)

WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT AND HELL

12) – We

believe in a physical hell and White Throne Judgment of all those whose names

are not written in the Lambs Book of Life, they will be judged and thrown alive

into the lake of fire, where they will be tormented day and night for all of

eternity. This is the same place that those angels that rebelled against God
